The Straightway Vs. CAIR (program #11)

Love in a Leap Year (Ruth 3)

Welcome to Search the Scriptures 24/7 , a radio ministry of The Berean Call with T.A. McMahon. I'm Gary Carmichael. It's great to have you along! In today's program, Tom continues his series of discussions with Paul Wilkinson, conference speaker and author of Understanding Christian Zionism and Prophets Who Prophesy Lies in My Name . Now, along with his guest, here's TBC executive director Tom McMahon.

Conflict Resolution

Pastor Mike talks about conflict resolution on today’s show.  Conflicts are bound to happen, so what is the biblical way to resolve a conflict?  Open up 1 Corinthians as Pastor Mike shows us how we should respond to conflict.

A. Woman's Attire & Attitude in the House of God! I Timothy 2.9-15

John's boralogue leads off today's program by revealing the danger that free speech finds itself in today. He shows that the same people who espoused the right of free speech on campuses in the 1960s are the same people who are trying to quash the free speech rights of students at today's colleges. That will lead us to our first guest, Pastor Greg Young (www.pastorgregyoung.org), host of the radio show "Chosen Generations," who discusses the decision of Houston's mayor to subpoena any sermon notes or correspondences of local pastors who speak on the issue of homosexuality and the church. We then close out our thread on the geopolitical relationship between Russia and China with Andrew Kuchins, Director of the Russia and Eurasia Program at CSIS, who speaks about the recent gas deal between the two countries as well as the shift of the world's economic balance of power to the East. Back by popular demand, Michael Connelly Constitutional attorney and Executive Director of the U.S. Justice Foundation, goes beyond the Bill of Rights to begin examining the rest of the Constitutional amendments. Today's topic: Amendment numbers 11 and 12. Finally, we will speak with Georges Houssney author of the book, "Engaging Islam." He examines the history of Christian-Muslim relations, and how Christians are called to engage them in love and speak to them about Jesus.

On today's program, JD answers one sincere question and then goes into a Voice in the Wilderness segment on the topic of the antichrist.

Are you prepared for the time when the earth’s conditions will echo those of the days of Noah? As host Wayne Shepherd notes, Whitcomb Ministries proclaims the message each week on “Encounter God’s Truth” that God’s Word is true from the beginning to the end. This time, we hear Dr. John Whitcomb give a very special presentation called “The Days of Noah.” It is the final program in an extended series named “Creation Apologetics.” Dr. Whitcomb recently addressed the congregation of Victory Baptist Church of Whiteland, Indiana, and we thank them for allowing us to share this audio with you. The broadcast closes with a short time of questions and answers that followed this message. Thank you for listening to this program—and for telling others about it!

--A high court in Pakistan upholds the death sentence of Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of 5, who was accused of blasphemy against Mohammed. --A Dallas lab worker believed to have handled specimens from the Liberian man who became the first person to be diagnosed and die of Ebola in the states is now quarantined aboard a Carnival cruise ship off the coast of Belize. --The Centers for Disease Control is saying you can give Ebola but you can't get it on a bus. --New York Giants to play the Cowboys in Dallas but must learn how to prevent catching Ebola.

It is in the cross that we glory. But our eyes are often drawn to secondary things such as political advantage. This is why we need to have a clear view of how important the cross really is. Today, we will learn what God the Father thinks of His Son’s cross.

The Straightway Vs. CAIR (program #10)

Pastors Must Disciple Men Why should you pray for your Pastor? What is the role of a Pastor? How can you pray for your Pastor? Open up to 2 Timothy as you listen to today’s show.

On today's program, JD discusses the molestation allegations against Ernest Angley, interviews a Bakersfield pastor who wrote an open letter to Pastor Vietti about the worst sermon in the world and then takes a call from Tony Miano about Houston, TX subpoenaing pastors' sermon manuscripts and his plans to go to Houston to preach the Gospel there.

Jimmy DeYoung will cover geo-political events around our world with Ken Timmerman on today's edition of PTIB. Jimmy will discuss with Ken the frustration of the United States with Turkey in the fight against IS; an Imam says that Islam will take over the world within the decade; Iran is still seeking nuclear WMD's and the bomb blast at an Iranian nuke site.

This Crosstalk features a look at the fallout from the “bathroom bill” controversy in Houston, Texas. This bill would guarantee that a man who thinks he's a woman could go into the restroom of his choice. Those who opposed this began a petition drive and came up with the required number of signatures to force a vote on the matter. Casey noted, however, that the city illegally prevented this issue from appearing on the ballot. Those behind the petition drive sued the city and in response the city demanded that every pastor in opposition to the “bathroom bill” must provide city officials with all of their sermons as well as all private communications such as text messages, e-mails or anything else that involved discussion of homosexuality.

We need to learn one lesson well. Those who mix the cross and any nation’s flag do a disservice to both. For believers, keeping them distinct is the only way to fulfill our prime mission as ambassadors for Christ to a needy world.
